The 29 songs recorded herein compose a heartfelt and endearing tribute album to the local downtown music staple Al Foul. Ever the consistent blue collar troubadour, his 20 plus years has received 20 plus covers of his song catalog by friends and peers. The songs are a testament to quality songwriting and the power of reinterpretation, and a masterclass in Americana (at times country and at others bluesy but rock n roll throughout). Unfortunate circumstance is often the birth of great art, mostly because of the amount heart that goes into it. Al Foul is currently undergoing treatment for throat cancer. Proceeds of the album will go to help with costs.
