In 2023, she starred in the Netflix dark comedy series Beef<\/a><\/i>, for which she won a Golden Globe Award<\/a> and a Primetime Emmy Award<\/a>, becoming the only Asian woman to win a lead acting Emmy.<\/p>\n In 2023, Wong embarked on her cross-country stand-up tour ALI WONG: LIVE, which recently extended into 10 additional cities through 2024. She is also currently producing \u201cJentry Chau vs. The Underworld\u201d for Netflix, in which she stars opposite Lucy Liu. The animated action series follows a Chinese-American teenager with supernatural powers who is hunted by forces from the underworld.
